Praktypes is an independent type foundry based in Yogyakarta, initiated in early January 2026 from a casual conversation in a coffee shop by two final-year students who were beginning to worry about their futures and trying their luck in the industry.
We are dedicated to creating functional yet expressive fonts. We aim to make it easier for people to speak through the designs they create. By combining technical precision in font engineering with a keen eye for visual presentation, we strive to provide assets that help designers express themselves more eloquently.
We believe every character tells a story. Whether for bold branding projects or subtle editorial layouts, our fonts are designed for optimal performance.
